  4. For secondary …
For secondary fermentation, you just transfer the beer into a second carboy after a week. Normally let it sit in secondary for 3 more weeks before bottling, but times can vary. You need to make sure that you do not oxygenate when transfering.

  10. Wort is oxygenated …
Wort is oxygenated when it splashes around the fermenter during the transfer. I just leave the tube dangling barely in the fermenter. That’s always been enough.

There is a whole other step, conditioning, that is not included in these videos. That is the process of carbonation. I usually just wait until fermentation is done, i.e. no more activity, then I transfer to a keg and force carbonate with a CO2 tank

  23. Haha that’s going …
Haha that’s going to have to be the uncreated parts 5-8 of the video… I force carbonate usually. I own about 8 cornelius kegs and a couple little CO2 tanks. As you can see I make about 10 gallon batch volumes, which amounts to two 5-gallon cornelius kegs produced in each batch. Sometimes I’ll do bottling, but its a lot more work and introduces a greater chance of contamination.
