Beer Caps....are you serious? Depending on the metals content of course weight would be a factor plus any labor. If you melt down the metal of your sentimental beer caps it's not going to be recognizable anylonger as a beer cap, so why not just purchase precious metal and be done with it? You can use platinum which is white gold or 14kt. Better yet if you have any dental crowns laying around use that!!! It would definitely be worth so much more.
References :
100-500 depending on what you want done, they do sizing or putting diamonds in rings and stuff like that for a few hundred and this shouldn't be any more since they're not dealing with valuable or fragile material.
